I bought this on CD ages ago and it didn't leave my car's rotation for a couple years. I Raised this Stone as a Ghastly Memorial is one of those songs I consider a perfect representation of my taste in music.

This is, in my opinion, Mgła's ("Migwah's") best work, projecting a Lōathing øf Lįfe so feverish that it becomes palpable, infecting the air.

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once.....
